With that, I head for the room in question and open the door with the keys that Loïc gave me. Once inside, I unpack my suitcase and put my clothes and my accessories in the various drawers provided. Once finished, I take my favourite book and I slump on the bed like a potato sack to immerse myself in my reading that I had started a few days earlier. I am exhausted after an endless journey and reading has a very relaxing effect on me, which I love. It calms me down, but it's getting late and if I want to face my first day at boarding school, I'm going to have to be in good shape. So I decide to go to bed and a deep sleep comes over me. The sun was slowly beginning to rise over the plains of Caradra, and these first few rays brush the patches of my face. It's time to wake up, yet I don't want to get up. My urge takes over, and I go back to sleep for a few more hours. At this precise moment, insistent knocking on the door of my room is heard.
-" Let me sleep ! I growled." When I remember I'm at boarding school, I rush out, my eyes still sleepy and my hair dishevelled. I opened the door with a bang to see the tall redhead I had met when I arrived. I hear small knocks, which are more and more insistent.
- "Stop making noise, some people are trying to sleep!" I say with a hint of annoyance. Who dares to wake me up?! Oddly, the young man bursts out laughing, and I think my appearance is the main concern.
- “Well, if on the contrary, it's hilarious. Well, then I can't see you, but I'm willing to bet you're adorable when you growl and get angry,” said the person in front of the entrance to my room. It turns out that the very dear Loïc, the only person I know in this cursed place, literally died of laughter.
I hasten to close the door, take a look in the mirror just to my right where my closet is, and arrange my red horses as best I can. I wipe around my mouth because I have dried drool from last night. I feel more presentable, although I'm still in my pyjamas. I opened the door again to face Loïc again.
- "May I know what brings you to this late hour?" I say nonchalantly.
- "I add to my list that you must be adorable when you sleep", he always says with his growing smile, and totally ignoring my question.
- "What, it's so obvious that I just woke up? »
- "Yes, sorry, I still see a few little hairs all over the place that don't quite know where to go," said Loïc before smirking for the umpteenth time.
And shit, it's true how stupid I can be sometimes, moreover me who believed that I had arranged myself correctly apparently I was wrong
- "No, but more seriously, I came to see if you were ready for the little visit to the establishment," said the redhead, cutting the thread of my thoughts. I swore softly. Damn, the visit, I had completely forgotten.
- "What, but what time is it?" »
- "It must be around 11:00 a.m., yes, the marmot slept for a long time!" He laughs again, seeing my annoyed face.
- "Give me 10 minutes maximum the time to put on a decent outfit other than pyjamas", I say, somewhat embarrassed that he saw me with short hair who decided to do nothing but their heads, and especially in pyjamas.
- "Ok, perfect, I'm waiting for you", answers Loïc before leaving the room.
I head to my closet and opt today for a white croc-top with tight black jeans. I complete my outfit with long necklaces that hang down my body and a long woolen vest that reaches my calf. I hasten to do a bun not too badly made, and I'll join the redhead.
- "Ah, there you are, so we're starting" Loïc begins by leading me down the hall, towards the entrance hall. Then we move slowly through each room, all huge as each other.
- "On your right, you will find the classrooms, and at the back is the gymnasium and even more you have the swimming pool" Well, it's a hell of a building, it almost looks like an academy.
- "It doesn't look like a prison after all...", I wanted to joke.
- "Here it's not a prison, it's more like a kind of boarding school where people like no other live"
- "Go ahead, tell me why your parents brought you here?" I'm still curious to know his story, being the only friend I have.
- “Well, I am simply unsociable! »
-" No, seriously ? Is that why they locked you up here? »
- "Yes, and you, for what reasons did your parents send them to this backwater?" he said, smiling, surely wanting to learn more about me.
- “Well, I caused an accident that cost my big sister her life. From that day on, I resented myself and withdrew into myself. My parents didn't know what to do with me, so they took me here.” During my monologue, Loïc remained completely in his thoughts, but still looked sad.
- "I assure you, you are in no way responsible for anything", he said, reassuring me as best he could.
- “You can't know, you weren't there like it happened. There was so much blood” And there, I left in tears, and he took me in his arms to calm me down. I tighten his embrace.
I begin to calm down a bit, and completely dry my tears so that we can continue this visit, which seems endless to me. This building has the structure of a castle with all these large rooms and long corridors. Loïc gave me a brief history lesson of the boarding school, but I only listened with half an ear because I was so amazed to see the splendor of certain rooms. The visit must have come to an end, and when we turned around to go back to the dormitories, I saw a young man in the distance, coming out of a room in a rage. He was very upset, but I don't know why. He wore black jeans and a white t-shirt that hugged his well-defined abs to perfection. He continued to mutter slurs at someone who appeared to be a teacher. The door to the classroom slammed shut, leaving a dead silence to settle in the hallway. Surely feeling observed, the young man turns in our direction and freezes completely. He was breathtakingly beautiful. He had black hair like a raven's feathers, and his skin was an unprecedented light beige. And in his eyes, I believe that I will be able to contemplate this blue ocean forever. As soon as our eyes met, a strange feeling of déjà vu, I feel like I know him, but I can't remember where exactly. But I think I know him well, I'm sure. A ringing sounded, and our connection was cut short. I saw him picking up his stuff, and walked out of our line of sight.
- "Do you know who it is?" I say with great curiosity.
- "It's Jonathan Edwards, the most dangerous and lonely boy of all the boarders! If I were you, I would avoid running into him again…”, he told me without any emotion. I do believe that he and this famous Jonathan are not madly in love. In short, I divert my gaze to the exact place where I saw this handsome man disappear, which still intrigues me today.
